February News

Man Commercial Protection Ltd 24 hour control centre at our Solihull HQ continued to be busy during the month of February with increased Void Property Inspections, Alarm Responses, Emergency Cover, new Key holding contracts, unlocks and locks, Mobile patrols and residential security.

We continue to increase our out of hours cover on a daily basis. As SIA Approved Contractors we are pleased to announce that on March 4^th 2013 we will have been trading for 20 years .

We were busy on the event side in February with boxing shows at the York Hall for Left Jab Promotions and the British Lionhearts tournament. We supplied cover for the two Justin Bieber Birmingham shows along with Example, X factor and Plan B.

We have already secured bookings for the festival period with shows confirmed in July August and September. We have further contract awards to be announced in March . We continued to supply extra cover in February to Vertu plc, Plumbase, Jack Wills , KWB amongst others.

January News

Man Commercial Protection Ltd Bid Teams continued to be busy in January with presentations, tender submissions and client meetings across the UK.

We commenced on the 1^st January 2013 a new contract with DHL for JLR in the West Midlands. We also were busy supplying cover for Lambert Smith Hampton, Tipping Resources, Vertu Motors, Grafton and Plumbase amongst others.

We continue to increase our Key holding and Alarm response cover from our 24 Hour control centre.

Staff were supplied at the LG Arena for the Trey Songz concert and supplied Ringside security for the British Welterweight title fight between Frankie Gavin and Jason Welborn at the Walsall Town Hall.

MAN’s Key holding business grows

Man Commercial continue to grow in the Key holding, Alarm Response, Void Property inspection sector. Since 2010 we have grown this side of the business by 80% and are actively continuing to increase the keys held on a weekly basis.

From our Solihull based Head Quarters our 24 hour control room is perfectly situated to respond to Alarm Activations, Mobile Patrols and inspections.

December News & Happy New Year

MAN Commercial enjoyed a very busy festive period across all areas of the business. Due to the time of year extra cover was provided across the board for existing, old and new clients throughout the UK. This included some of our larger clients; Lambert Smith Hampton, Lovell, Wates, Interr, Selco, Plumbase, Jack Wills, Sytner & Vertu amongst others.

On the guarding side of the business we’ve had confirmation of two new DHL sites commencing in January in Liverpool and Widnes. On the boxing side of the business, we provided security for the large Frank Warren promotions boxing show at the Excel Arena London. This featured George Groves and Billy Joe Saunders amongst others.

At the LG Arena and the NIA we covered the Freed Radio live, Madness, Mumford and sons, War of the Worlds and the Bamma Event featuring Alex Reid.

We continued to be busy from our 24 hour control centre in Solihull with extra keyholding, Emergency response, Residential security, Void property inspections, Mobile patrols and Security guarding.

November News

Man Commercial continued to be busy with events throughout November. The month started with Bonfire parties and MAN supplied cover on our annual parties including the Farm, The Boot at Lapworth and Chelmsley Wood Town Council annual event. All events were a great success.

On the sports side of the business staff were supplied for the boxing for Queensberry promotions at the Olympia in Liverpool and Left Jab Promotions at the York hall London. Also we covered the hugely publicised professional debut of Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff at the Manchester Arena in his contest against the American Richard Dawson.

At the LG Arena and NIA we covered a variety of events including Marilyn Manson, WWE Raw, WWE Smackdown, Star Parvivaar and Disney on Ice.

The guarding side of the business enjoyed a busy month with new contracts being awarded with DHL commencing on the January 1^st 2013 in Birmingham. We also supplied emergency cover for Plumbase , Vertu motors and Birmingham City Council.

We supplied two staff for two events for Rudell the Jewellers and received an excellent client testimonial for the two staff supplied.

We continue to be busy with our Keyholding and Mobile response all based from our 24 hour head office.

We were honoured to supply cover at Alrewas for the National Memorial Arboretum Remembrance day event.

November continued to be busy with presentations throughout the UK for contract awards next year.

October News

MAN Commercial Protection Ltd are pleased to announce that in October 2012 we commenced two new prestigious guarding contracts that we were awarded in September 2012. The DHL Debenhams three distribution centres contract which sees a variety of teams working at all three sites.

The second is the Parrs Wood School in Manchester. This contract focuses on Guarding. Well done to all the bid team involved.

September was furtherly successful as we won a the Guarding contract in London with Lambert Smith Hampton. This contract is due to commence in January 2013.

Our existing contracts also received a boost as teams were supplied to Birmingham City Council contracts and we also added new Keyholding, Alarm Response and Residential Security Contracts to our profile.

On the event side we supplied staff at the LG Arena and NIA in Birmingham for a variety of shows including; Nickleback, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Jesus Christ Superstar, Slash, John Bishop, Nicky Minaj, Muse, The Killers and three days of the Horse of the Year Show.

We also covered the British Welterweight Title fight between Frankie Gavin and Junior Whitter at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, London.

The Events side of the business also enjoyed a busy September. We supplied staff at the LG Arena for the George Michael concerts and on the Isle of Wight we supplied staff at Bestival 2012 festival. MAN was also involved in the Olympics, covering the Olympic Medal parade and Paralympic Marathon.

Our annual cover for the Acorns Midnight ladies charity walk was also a success. The retail of the business is continuing to grow and were busy covering Jack Wills stores throughout the UK during the month.

The boxing side of the business was busy this September with staff being supplied at the York hall Bethnal green for Frank Warren promotions, Queensberry promotions and Left Jab Promotions. We supplied staff in Glasgow for the public workouts, Press conference, weigh in and fight for the big Ricky burns v Kevin Mitchell fight at the SECC. We also covered the charity Debra show in London.

September was also very busy with presentations and tenders, so look out for more in October.

Special Recognition to MAN Team

Awarded to Tony Hayward and Michelle Webster whilst working at download 2012 on Camp site security a young adult with learning difficulties became detached from his parents and was reported missing. After an extensive search over a long period of time Michelle and Tony extended the search to areas beyond their deployed area and where able to find and reunite the lost adult with his relieved parents.

August News

MAN Commercial Protection Ltd enjoyed a busy August. The events side of the business supplied staff at V festival 2012 at Weston Park and the Creamfields event in Liverpool.

Existing contracts saw additional teams added with Vertu motors and Lovell’s both requiring this extra cover.

Some of our new contracts started this month at Bristol Street Motors in Tewkesbury and Gloucester. Carrying on with the automotive trade we commenced a new contract with Audi in Birmingham.

Our coverage of Jack Wills stores is increasing by the month. We supplied teams across the UK this month. Staff were also supplied to CLM, Garvey Demolition, PGC Contractors and the Lear Corporation.

The Keyholding side of the business was also very busy in August as well as we our Void Property Inspections which went on throughout the month. The rapid response service was also busy and proving an effective service for many of our clients.

Our training centre which is located at our head office in Solihull was also very busy with courses in CCTV and First Aid Training been undertaken.
