We are a family run business who in 2023 will be entering 30th year trading. Our Company strategy has been founded on a basic principle: success in business comes through the consistent delivery of quality, value and service to clients. Coupled with a passion for recruiting, training and retaining the best teams we possibly can, this philosophy has allowed MAN Commercial Protection to become more and more successful year upon year.
As we near 30 years in the security business, we are proud that so many of our large and diverse client base have been customers for over 25 years; we credit this loyalty with the responsible, professional and honest relationships we hold. Similarly, many of our colleagues have also been with for upwards of two decades now, and it is a pleasure to be thought of as such a rewarding Company to work for and somewhere people find a career they love.
We work by the motto ‘The Heart of Our Business Is Our People’ and take pleasure in recognising and rewarding those who consistently perform to the highest standards or go above and beyond. Last year, we presented over 50 Employee of the Month prizes to Officers across the UK.
One of the most exciting aspects of MAN Commercial is the variety of the work we undertake: we are skilled specialists in all areas of manned guarding, meaning we are familiar with a diverse selection of markets and business sectors across the UK.
We provide event security, CCTV monitoring, concierge and receptionist services, keyholding and alarm response, and all aspects of manned guarding. You may also recognise our brand from the work our Events Team do alongside Frank Warren at numerous boxing shows over the years, which are often televised. In April 2022, our team of over 225 ran the ringside security at Tyson Fury v Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium, which was watched by millions of people around the globe.

The Security Industry is changing all the time, and is also facing more challenges that ever before. We are long-time members of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and are working alongside them in 2022 to promote the benefits of our industry, and the excellent work carried out by those within it.
I am joined at MAN Commercial Protection by a line-up of 9 Directors, and a large team of Regional Contract Managers operating out in the field across the UK. Last year we significantly grew our Head Office support teams who cover HR, Recruitment, Compliance, Accounts and Operational Administration, along with adding to our Control Room, contact centre which is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, making it the busy hub of our business.
In 2021 we opened our second office in Solihull, and in 2022 we have purchased our third. The third space will be largely used for the expansion of our Training Academy, which was launched in January 2022. By bringing our SIA HABC -approved Company Trainer onboard, we have been able to offer an array of training and development options to our teams and have big plans to open the academy to the public so more people can access the valuable courses.
In all that we do, it is the spirit of our Management Team together with the professionalism, performance and dedicated commitment of all our staff that I believe helps MAN Commercial Protection stand out from its competitors. Our close-knit team thrive on hard work and success and have a genuine enjoyment for what we do. We continue to grow and remain ambitious – I look forward to where we will be in another 30 years!
