We are a family-run business, with 2023 marking our 30th anniversary. We have celebrated our milestone birthday throughout the year, notably through launching our Training Academy and raising £30,000 for charity through various team challenges and events.
Over our 30 years trading, our Company strategy has been founded on a basic principle: success in business comes through the consistent delivery of quality, value and service to clients. Coupled with a passion for putting our people at the heart of everything we do, this philosophy has allowed MAN Commercial Protection to become more and more successful year upon year.
We are proud that much of our large and diverse client base have been customers for over 25 years; we credit this loyalty with the responsible, professional and honest relationships we hold. Similarly, many of our colleagues have also been with for upwards of two decades now, and it is a pleasure to be thought of as a rewarding place to work and somewhere that people find a career they love.
We work by the motto ‘The Heart of Our Business Is Our People’ and take pleasure in recognising and rewarding those who consistently perform to the highest standards or go above and beyond.
One of the most exciting aspects of MAN Commercial is the variety of the work we undertake: we are skilled specialists in all areas of security guarding, meaning we are familiar with a diverse range of markets and business sectors across the UK.
We provide event security, CCTV monitoring, concierge and receptionist services, keyholding and alarm response, and all aspects of manned guarding. You may also recognise our brand from the world of boxing. We have been preferred security provider to Frank Warren and Queensberry events for over 20 years, and in the last 12 months we have worked with the sports promotion company out in Saudi Arabia for the high profile Fury v Ngannou in October and Joshua v Wilder in December, which were televised and watched by millions across the globe.

Security is a changing industry, and it continues to face challenges, most notably recruiting new talent to join our sector. We are long-time members of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and work alongside them to promote the benefits of our industry, and the excellent work carried out by those within it. We are particularly passionate about Women In Security and creating a more diverse workforce. Initiatives to support this have included a free CCTV course at our Training Academy, open to all our female officers.

I am joined at MAN Commercial Protection by a vastly experienced Senior Leadership Team, as well as Regional Contract Managers operating out in the field across the UK. Last year we significantly grew our Head Office support teams who cover HR, Recruitment, Compliance, Accounts, Business Development and Operational Administration, along with adding to our Control Room which is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, making it the busy hub of our business.
As we continue to deliver excellent customer service to our clients every day, it is the spirit of our Management Team together with the professionalism, performance and dedicated commitment of our security officers that I believe helps MAN Commercial Protection stand out from its competitors.
I have always thrived on hard work and success and have so much pride in what we do, which I ensure filters down to all my team. We continue to grow and remain ambitious – I look forward to where we will be in another 30 years!
