MAN Commercial Protection recognises its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) responsibilities beyond their statutory obligations in helping to deliver economic, social and environmental benefits for all its stakeholders such as clients and employees as well as government and local government organisations.
Our ESG can be highlighted as follows:
Client Relationships
The first responsibility for all business is its economic impact. For MAN Commercial Protection this means focusing on building strong and long-term relationships with our clients that are based upon a thorough knowledge and understanding of their security requirements. Our clients seek our advice on a wide range of issues and they place considerable trust in our ability to provide them with tailored advice that meets their business needs. This demands that we act with a high degree of integrity towards them at all times.
Investing in our People
- Teamwork, effective management of our people and personal development are some of the cornerstones of our values (see Ethics and Values). We believe fundamentally that we cannot provide our clients with a consistent and high-quality service without investing in the well-being and development of our people.
- At MAN Commercial Protection the management team work hard to consistently go above and beyond industry standards in creating a workplace that fosters fairness, diversity and respect.
- Through the continual assessment of our policies and procedures, we aim to provide a genuinely caring attitude towards employee welfare and professional fulfilment. It is important to the development of the company that we attract and retain the highest calibre of staff available and we do so by offering clear paths to career progression, first-class training and benefits above the industry average.
Environmental Management
Running any business has an impact on the environment. Equally, running a business efficiently makes good business sense. In 2009 the company was awarded ISO 14001 and therefore has an Environmental Management System in place to list, assess, target and measure activities with a view to making savings/changes to operational activity. The programme is on-going and we are proud of our successes to date.
Community Investment
We recognise that there is an appropriate role for business in helping to tackle some of the issues affecting our society through local community investment. We encourage our employees to volunteer or organise local fundraising initiatives which also creates valuable opportunities for personal development, teamwork and “giving something back”.
Health and Safety
The Company’s Health and Safety Policy recognises that the control of all health and safety matters arising from our work activities is not only an essential feature of our efficient operation, but is also a civil and statutory obligation. The company hold ISO 45001 and is a member of Safe Contractor.
Diversity
Our objective is to enhance diversity within the company and create a supportive culture in which all employees regardless of ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, nationality or disability can develop their skills, advance their careers and maximise their potential.
