December was very busy with Contract Renewals, Mobilisations of January starting contracts and presentations. We have increased our Operational Support Officers and Contract Managers in the South and North West during the last Quarter.
December ended by supplying Event staff in London for the big New Year’s Eve Celebration on the Embankment in London. As with November we continued to supply staff in December at New Street Station to assist with the Christmas Shoppers rush.
On the event side we covered the Madness, Slash and Free Radio show. On the guarding site we supplied extra staff at Star City for the Christmas Circus and Outdoor Bars along with extra cover for Wates and Jack Wills amongst others.
On the mobilisation teams they were busy all over the festive period with new starters in January.
MAN Commercial continues registration with Constructionline
MAN Commercial Protection is pleased to announce its continuing registration and certification with Constructionline. This is a UK Government accreditation service aimed at reducing duplication of Quality Assurance information and thereby improving efficiencies for both suppliers and buyers within the construction sector. The MAN Commercial Protection accreditation remains valid until October 2015.
Constructionline is a Public-Private Partnership between Capita and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. It is the UK’s largest register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants with over 18,000 qualified suppliers. Described as the “common sense solution for both sides of the tender”, MAN Commercial’s registration and qualification with Constructionline means that the company does not has to repeatedly fill in standard pre-qualification forms every time its tenders for security work within the sector.
We increased our Key Holding and Mobile Response portfolio based from our Head Office Control Centre during the month with new clients being added to our growing base.
Well done to all the bid team involved throughout the process. During the month we supplied national cover for Jack Wills as they travelled all over the UK on their Jack Wills Model search. We have new contract awards that we will announce over the coming months as they start.
These sites have increased our portfolio with Land Securities throughout the UK. We have new sites for other client client contracts starting in Radlett, Barming, Birmingham, Coventry and Barking over the next two months.
On the Event side we were busy with V2014 and Creamfields amongst others. Both of these events we have covered since the Nineties on a yearly basis. We have also invested heavily at our Solihull Head Office with new Admin staff and IT. 
Man Commercial Protection Ltd were proud to supply staff for the Tour De France Race Event in Yorkshire. This was a high profile event that was televised throughout the world and was well received by the thousands of spectators who attended over the weekend.
Also during the month successfully passed our SIA ACS Audit and improved our score over the 4 day Audit , we continue to be accredited in Security Guarding, Key Holding, Door Supervision and CCTV.
