November 23rd was the night of our 25th Anniversary Boxing Show and what a night it was! Throughout 2018 MAN Commercial have been celebrating our 25th birthday in a range of ways, and fundraising for children’s charities along the way.
It meant a lot to the team at MAN to mark this landmark anniversary in style, and we also wanted to make sure we were using it as a great opportunity to support charitable causes close to our heart at the same time.
After the event on November 23rd we were able to announce that we have raised a massive £13,000 in donations from the evening and from various fundraisers throughout the Summer. We were able to make sizable donations to Luna’s Legacy, Sturge Weber UK, The Lewis Dunne Foundation and Hall Green Youth Boxing Club who partnered with us for the Boxing Show.
The night was a huge success and we are delighted to have received great feedback from many of the 350 guests who attended. Table guests were treated to a three course meal, prize raffle and DJ plus the outstanding boxing show put on by Hall Green Boxing Club and some of their peers, who joined us as opponents from as far as Liverpool and Wales.
Aside from our celebrations, it was business as usual with two new distribution centre contracts starting on November 1st. Our mobilisation and HR teams were busy welcoming over 30 new staff by TUPE transfer, and we also took on Concierge Contracts in Glasgow, Edinburgh and our first in Northern Ireland.
