We kicked off the new year with the announcement that our founder and Managing Director Iain McCallister has changing his title, and is now known as MAN Commercial Protection’s Chief Executive Officer.
This wasn’t the only personnel update in January; we have also expanded our Operational Support team, HR team and Accounts department due to our continued level of fast-paced growth. We are delighted to have recruited all new roles internally, which is a fantastic result as we are extremely passionate about developing our people’s potential.
Training has also taken place this month further afield from Head Office, with essential Aviation training going ahead alongside bags and bodies courses. While a lot of training has been moved online in recent months, the importance of the aviation security sector remains prevalent, so the training was able to take place in person to meet the requirements of our airside distribution clients.
We may only be one month in, but 2021 has already been busy for MAN Commercial with a string of new contracts going live in January.
We have expanded our cover significantly for a large distribution client at various locations across the country, as well as new locations for food and automotive manufacturing customers in Cambridgeshire and Coventry.
We have also taken over concierge services at 2 prestigious central London locations in recent weeks. We have also mobilised new sites in the north of England, with contracts starting in Warrington and Sunderland as well as adding to our expansive keyholding and alarm response portfolio.
With the CovId-19 pandemic unfortunately showing no signs of disappearing as we enter 2021, we are proud to continue working hard supporting on various testing centres both across the Midlands and nationally, supplying mobile teams, and at NHS supply chain distribution locations.
MAN Commercial Protection were featured in Insider Magazine this month, who did a piece on our results for the last financial year. We were also featured in the Infologue Top 30 Security Companies of 2020, ranking at number 22 in the UK which is a fantastic achievement for us.
